I challenged myself on whether I would be able to accomplish a bottom-to-top CGI project. So all the modelling, lights and materials (but the awesome bulbs) are original. I did get the inspiration from the talented interiorist J.Ginabreda, who designed Restaurant Embat (Barcelona) pictured here.
I wanted to combine "natural" and artificial light, so I added some windows that are not on the actual restaurant.
Through the process not only I've learned masking techniques, render tricks and some basic modelling, but also how exciting and challenging this is.
