All compositing aspects. The first shot required to prep the ship around the further spartans, replaced by CG doubles; Rotos and prep around the edges to recover the overlapping filmed spartans. And integration work. About the planet, lookdev in Nuke following lighters intention. Custom flares. Added helmet reflections, space dust, etc. and some tweaking in the Fx of the blaster shot, which also has a custom lens dirt.
5, 6, 7, - ReDefine. Ripley.
All compositing aspects. TRAIN: Mattes: keying and projected rotos. Prep: remove all reflections from static lights on the chassis. Comp: propose speed for columns before 3d. Reapply lighting on train and adjust columns CG layer to sell that the train is entering the station. HOUSE: fine tune provided DMP of the top left house, tracking, integration and balance shot exposure to drive the eye. CAR and APPARTMENT: matte extraction and edge treatments
8, 9, 14, 15 - ReDefine. Gen V, Golden Boy interior.
Deep compositing adapting a given setup to the shot. Many tweaks of the setup required, especially regarding edge matching. Extra complexity came in shot 9, where the character was on superwhites, so we brought it 2 full stops down.
10, 11, 12, 12 - Dare Planet Studio. Sin Límites, ships.
Cleanscreens, keying, prep, CG integration including color/lookdev proposals and compositing to final.
